Where to go on a Date: The Top 19 Places

Even after you’ve approached a pretty girl and convinced her to go on a date with you, you are still left with one problem: where to go on a date.

Sometimes you’re left with too many date ideas: should you go cheap? Expensive? Day? Night? And some have to find a place to date so their parents won’t even find out!

In this article you will learn about the best places and why they are the best places. I’ll even give you some real world examples in cities like Huston and New York City so that you always go to the places nearest to you.

This article is perfect for 2nd or 3rd dates or when she’s already your girlfriend, but if you need first date ideas read my post titled 11+ Best Places to Go on a First Date.

1. Go to farmers market and cook a meal

I wouldn’t recommend this for a first date because it can be too expensive and it takes way too long which will leave both of you exhausted by the end. But if you already know your partner well enough, this can be a great way to get to know each other even better.

Just head over to that farmer market and get those healthy vitamins!

  1. Tomatoes
  2. Berries
  3. Oranges
  4. Grapes
  5. Garlic
  6. Cherries
  7. Honey
  8. Lemons
  9. Broccoli
  10. Spinach

And once you get all of these delicious ingredients, get back to your place and cook a big, healthy meal!

Here are some great farmers markets in NYC and Huston perfect for any date:

  1. Tucker Square Greenmarket
  2. Greenmarket at Rockefeller Center
  3. Columbia Greenmarket
  4. The Houston Farmers Market
  5. Azteca Farmers Market
  6. Westchase District Farmers Market

And don’t forget that while you’re at the farmers market there are so many things to do and see which means you’ll never run out of things to talk about!

2. Skiing

Well obviously this one only works during the winter, but if you’ve got the time and the money: go for it!

You’ll have a great time teasing her every time she falls or wipes out which is obviously the best way to get to know anyone. [1, 2]

3. Play a board game

OK I don’t mean you just sit at home playing Monopoly awkwardly staring at each other! All you need to do is head over to your nearest coffee shop, order your favorite coffee and relax while playing a fun board game.

  1. Monopoly
  2. Guess Who
  3. Czech Games Codename
  4. Game of Life

And don’t worry about people staring, be confident!

Follow what Hypnotica teaches in his training, The Collection of Confidence to get rid of your social anxiety and watch how your rock solid confidence makes your girl irresistibly attracted to you.

Avoid being too competitive, just chill out. Remember: it’s always the easy-going guys that take home all the girls…

4. Rollerblading

Again, I do not recommend this as a first date venue because it’s expensive and you won’t really have much to talk about…

But if she’s already your girlfriend or it’s your second date, have a blast! The exercise will make you feel less awkward around each other and guess what? You can easily hold her hand because you’re making sure she doesn’t fall!

And like most of these dating venus, you can always get food or do something else when you’re done.

Here are some of the best rollerblading places:

  1. RollerJam USA (NYC)
  2. Pier 2 Roller Rink (NYC)
  3. Riverbank State Park Roller skating (NYC)
  4. Alice Wainwright Park (Miami)

And by the way, don’t be embarrassed if you suck at skating, just laugh it off and show your confidence. Don’t let your ego ruin a great date opportunity.

5. Skydiving

Got the guts? Are you a daredevil? Do you have a crazy girlfriend? This might be the perfect place for you: jump out of airplanes.

The truth is that if you’ve followed all the steps of Hypnotica’s dating course, The Collection of Confidence and you have rock solid, sexy confidence this can even work for first dates too.

But if you aren’t super confident with girls and going on dates, stay far away from this and try some of the more “normal” venues. [1, 2]

6. The gym

The gym is a great way for anyone (like me) that loves working out every single day. We all know having a muscular body attracts women, but letting your girl watch you lift heavy weights will make her go wild.

Additionally, because you’re the type of guy that goes to the gym on a daily basis, you feel comfortable there which is crucial for any date.

And did I mention that you get to see her beautiful body in action? Lol, just make sure you don’t get hard too quickly.

But of course, if you’re not the type of guy that likes going to the gym, don’t go there. Always go to the places that match your personality.

going to fun, cheap places for a date

7. Movies

Do not go to the movies on a first date because you’ll never get a chance to talk to each other. You’re just sitting in silence watching a movie. Super awkward.

But if you already know this girl, heading over to the movies can be perfect. You get the chance to flirt, touch and even kiss without anyone seeing!

Alternatively, you can pull the classic “Netflix and chill” move, which basically means you’re inviting her over to have sex with Netflix playing in the background.

Here are some good Netflix and chill movies for you:

  1. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
  2. All The Bright Places
  3. Falling Inn Love
  4. Lust Stories
  5. Irreplaceable You
  6. P.S. I Love You

Invite her over, start watching, cuddle and get busy! [3]

8. Rock climbing

Rock climbing is expensive, but if you can find some coupons or 2 for 1 deals, you’ll be all set up for a great second date. (Rock climbing is too intense for a first date.)

Of course, if you aren’t in the best shape or your girl isn’t, stay away from this venue. It’ll get boring pretty fast, you’d be much better off at the park.

9. Go ride horses

Riding horses is a ton of fun and can even be a little frightening, but what’s a date without some good surprises?

Pay that money and get on that horse!

10. Painting

Don’t feel pressure to paint perfectly. Just focus on having fun and following around. You can even paint each other!

It’s super easy. Alternatively, you can visit your local art festival or museum:

  1. The Metropolitan Museum of Art
  2. The Museum of Modern Art
  3. Do Division Street Fest
  4. The Art Institute of Chicago
  5. Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival
  6. National Museum of Mexican Art

Just pick one place, flirt with her and take her home when you’re done…

11. Trampoline parks

I love this option because it forces both of you to jump around and get a little sweaty which gets rid of the awkwardness and social anxiety.

Sure, it’s not free, but it gives you the change to run into each other and is the perfect way to escalate sexually.

12. Zoo

I’ve never taken a girl to the zoo, but supposedly girls loooove the gym. I guess they love animals.

If you are an animal lover, this is YOUR place. At the zoo, you’ll always have something to talk about because you know animals and you’ll come off as confident.

But of course, if you aren’t that crazy about animals, the zoo can still be a great place to connect with your partner and to have a great time.

13. Live music

Personally this is my favorite because I am such an extrovert. I get so much energy from being around people, concerts are my go-to place.

Obviously, this is not the place for introverts, but otherwise, get that beer and have a blast.

14. The mall

Guys get so scared when I talk about the mall because they don’t want to spend money. But the truth is, you don’t have to!

Before I started my passive, massively successful business that allowed me to buy the things I want, I used to talk girls to the mall and:

  1. Play with the pets at the pet store
  2. Mess around in Ikea
  3. Look at things we’d like to buy someday

The key is confidence. If you have confidence you’ll never run out of things to do on a date. Get that confidence!

15. Shooting rage

First date – too much. Second date – perfect!

And let me tell you: girls love it so much, it shows your power, masculinity and dominance which is super sexy. You’d be surprised, but many girls are ready to get down and dirty after a  shooting range date.

Do not go if you don’t have the money for it or you don’t know how to use a gun. It’s only the guys that can afford it and know how to shoot guns who really make girls wet.

16. Go for a hike

Hiking is a great date option for guys that love the outdoors and know each and every trail within 100 miles. It all depends on your personality and what you like.

Perfect for a second or third date, but as a first date, it’s too early to take a girl you don’t know into a random forest alone!

17. Bonfire and music

Tons of fun, find an empty park, bring some dry wood, light it up and roast some marshmallows. Wait we’re missing something…

MUSIC. Make sure you’ve got a good music playlist before you head out. Soft, romantic music can turn on any girl.

18. Plant a garden together

If you like gardening and so does your date, go for it. Girls actually love seeing guys getting their hands dirty while working on anything, it shows they are capable of providing which is very attractive.

Head over to Home Depot, pick up some seeds and start planting!

19. Do some volunteering

This is definitely not the classic move, but it can create a meaningful connection. Here are some examples are where you can go:

  1. Go to the hospital and read books to cancer patients
  2. Volunteer at the local old age home and walk old people
  3. Head over the beach and clean it up

Don’t do it to impress her, do it because you actually care about the people you are helping.

Summary:

You can really go anywhere you want, but remember it all depends on what interests you. What do you actually like doing? What type of personality do you have? Extrovert or introvert?

Ask yourself these questions and make sure you pick the venues that work for you.
